Pine paneling, used to be called notty pine paneling, made from beetle killed pine. The sap wood contains shades of blue, red and purple. Heart wood and knots remains unchanged. The combination results in a very beautiful product when used for paneling.

The stain associated with beetle killed pine does not make it unsound or weak.
